Indian Navy Agniveer Recruitment 2024 :- Indian Navy has released an official notification regarding recruitment of Agniveer (SSR) for 02/2024 Batch in Indian Navy through Agnipath scheme. Unmarried Males and Unmarried Females can apply online for Agniveer (SSR) – 02/2024 Batch from 13 May 2024 to 27 May 2024.

Eligibility Conditions for Indian Navy Agniveer Recruitment 2024:-
First of all applicant should be unmarried. Both male and female can apply for the Indian Navy Agniveer SSR. Detailed eligibility conditions for Indian Navy Agniveer SSR Recruitment 2024 is given below.
Education Qualification
1.) Qualified in 10+2 with Mathematics and Physics with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
OR
2.) Passed Three year diploma course in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Automobiles/ Compute Science/ Instrumental Technology) from Central, State and UT recognized Polytechnic Institute with 50% marks in aggregate.
OR
3.) Passed Two years Vocational Course with Non-vocational subject viz, Physics and Mathematics from Education Boards recognized by Central, State and UT with 50% marks in aggregate.
NOTE:- Candidates who have appeared in 10+2 Board Exam but their result has not been declared by their respective Board can also apply provided they fulfil other eligibility criteria. Such Candidates will not be allowed to appear in Stage II of Indian Navy Agniveer SSR exam if they don’t produce original marksheet during stage II of exam. Internet copy of marksheet will not be accepted. Also candidates must ensure that they are getting minimum aggregate marks for their respective category along with compulsory subjects as mentioned earlier.
Age limit for Indian Navy Agniveer SSR Recruitment 2024 :-
Candidate should be born between 01 Nov 2003 – 30 Apr 2007 (Both dates inclusive)
Selection Process of Indian Navy Agniveer SSR
Selection process of Agniveer SSR will include two stages i.e. Stage I – Shortlisting (Indian Navy Entrance Test -INET) and Stage II – Physical Fitness Test, Written Examination and Recruitment Medical Examination.
Stage-I (INET-Indian Navy Entrance Test)
Shortlisting:- Indian Navy Entrance Test – INET would be conducted to shortlist candidate for Stage-II. Shortlisting would be based on marks obtained in Indian Navy Entrance Test. Shortlisting will be carried out in state wise manner. The cut off marks for shortlisting for next stage of selection may vary from state to state as vacancies have been allocated in a state wise manner.
Indian Navy Entrance Test :-
1.) It will be online computer based test with total of 100 questions carrying 1 mark each.
2.) Question paper will be bilingual (Hindi & English) and Objective type (Multiple Choice Questions).
3.) The question paper will comprise of four sections i.e. English, Science, Mathematics, and General Awareness.
4.) The standard of question paper will be that of 10+2 level.

5.) Duration of examination will be one hour.
6.) The candidates have to pass in every section which means candidates have to clear cutoff of each section and overall cutoff of examination. Indian Navy has every right to determine pass marks in each section and in aggregate.
Penalty for Wrong Answers :-
1.) There will be negative marking in online entrance exam of Indian Navy Agniveer SSR Examination.
2.) For every wrong answer one fourth (0.25) of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty.
Exam center for online examination of Indian Navy Entrance Test can be assigned anywhere in India and its allocation will be at the discretion of the Indian Navy.
Examination Fee for Indian Navy Agniveer SSR Examination:-
An examination fee of Rs. 550 + 18% GST has to be paid by candidate during the online application through online
mode by using net banking or by using Visa/ Master/ RuPay Credit/ Debit Card/ UPI.
Students have to pay approximately 649 through online payment gateways as mentioned above during filling of online application form of Indian Navy Agniveer SSR Recruitment.
Admit card will be issued to those candidates only who have successfully paid the examination fee.
#Note :- 1.) Fee once paid shall not be refundable under any circumstances.
2.) If it is found that candidate has registered multiple times for the Indian Navy Agniveer SSR Examination 2024 then his/her candidature would be rejected and will be debarred from the examination.
Stage-II (PFT, Written Examination and Medical)
Candidates shortlisted in Stage I i.e. Indian Navy Entrance Test will be issued call-up letter for Stage II (PFT, Written Examination and Medical Examination). Stage II will be conducted in the designated Indian Navy’s Centers. The
syllabus for Stage-II written exam is available on website (www.joinindiannavy.gov.in) and (https://agniveernavy.cdac.in.). Aadhar Card is mandatory for Stage-II.
Physical Standard:-
Qualifying in Physical Fitness Test (PFT) is mandatory for selection. Candidates undergoing PFT will do so at their own risk. PFT Standard is as follow for Indian Navy Agniveer :-

Recruitment Medical Examination :-
Recruitment Medical Examination will be carried out for candidates who qualify PFT. Candidates qualifying medical examination will be considered for merit list.
Merit list :-
Merit list will be prepared based on performance in Stage-II written exam, subject to qualification in Physical Fitness Test and Recruitment Medical Examination. Merit List for Agniveer (SSR) – male and female will be based on a state wise merit.
The cut off marks for issue of call up letter for recruitment at INS Chilka may vary from state to state. Results will be published on candidate’s dashboard on website:- https://agniveernavy.cdac.in.
Final Recruitment Medicals:-
Final Recruitment Medical Examination of all selected candidates will be conducted at INS Chilka. Induction of the candidates will be subject to qualifying in Final Medical Examination, candidates not qualifying the final recruitment medical shall be rejected.
Medical Standards
Medical examination will be conducted by authorised military doctors as per medical standard prescribed in current regulations applicable on entry.
Gender:- Any candidate, if found to have predominant characteristics of the opposite gender as evidenced on external physical examination, will be rejected as UNFIT. Any candidate having undergone gender reassignment surgery will be declared UNFIT.
Pregnancy:- Any female candidate, if found to be pregnant shall be disqualified and her candidature will be rejected. A candidate should not have conceived at the time of reporting or till conclusion of four years tenure. If found to be pregnant later during the training or engagement period of four years, suitable action for dismissal/ removal will be undertaken.
Minimum Height for Indian Navy Agniveer SSR:- Minimum height standards for male and female is 157 cms.
Tattoos:- Permanent body tattoos are only permitted on inner face of forearms i.e. from inside of elbow to the wrist and on the reversed side of palm/ back (dorsal) side of hand. Permanent body tattoos on any other part of the body is not acceptable and candidate will be barred from recruitment.
The candidate must be in good physical and mental health, free from any disease/ disability likely to interfere with the efficient performance of duties.

1.) Candidates are advised to get their ears cleaned for wax, and tartar removed from teeth prior to medical examination.

Marital Status :-
Only unmarried Indian male and female candidates are eligible for enrolment as Agniveer in Indian Navy. Candidates will have to give a certificate of being ‘unmarried’ at the time of enrolment. A candidate shall be dismissed if found already married despite given the certificate of being unmarried. Agniveer shall not be permitted to marry during their entire tenure of four years in the Indian Navy. If candidates get married during their four year tenure as Agniveer in Indian Navy their service shall be terminated.
Terms and Condition for Indian Navy Agniveer
Duration of Service :-
The Agniveers shall be enrolled in the Indian Navy under the Indian Navy Act 1957, for a period of four years. Indian Navy is not obliged to retain the Agniveers beyond the engagement period of four years. “Agniveers would form a distinct rank, different from any other existing rank and would be the junior most rank in the Indian Navy.”
Leave :-
30 days leave per year shall be applicable for Agniveer in Indian Navy. Additionally, sick leave will be granted based on medical advice of competent medical authority.
Pay, Allowances and Allied Benefits :-
The Agniveer in Indian Navy will be paid Rs. 30,000 per month with a fixed yearly increment. In addition, risk and hardship, dress and travel allowances will be paid.
Seva Nidhi :-
Agniveer shall be given a one-time Seva Nidhi package compromising their monthly contribution along with matching contribution by the Government on completion of their engagement period, as indicated below :-

The Agniveers will be given 10.04 lakh rupee + interest accumulated on that amount as one time package with the name Seva Nidhi after their four year tenure in the Indian Navy. They will not have to pay any Income Tax on this “Seva Nidhi’ Package.
Note :- There shall be no entitlement to gratuity and pensionary benefits.

Life Insurance Cover :-
Agniveer will be provided non-contributory Life Insurance Cover of Rs. 48 lakh for the duration of their engagement period.
Death Compensation :-
In addition to insurance cover of Rs. 48 Lakh, one-time ex-gratia of Rs. 44 Lakh for death attributable to service, will be provided to the Next of Kin (NOK).
Disability Compensation :-
One-time ex-gratia of Rs. 44/ 25/ 15 Lakh based on % of disability (100%/ 75%/ 50%) shall be applicable to Agniveers.
